Whether you're struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma or adjustments to life situations, I'm available to help.

I have extensive experience working with these issues, as well as with life transitions, family and relationship struggles, adolescence and parenting difficulties, self-esteem, communication, gender identity, and the stress of chronic medical issues.

I have a Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology, Yeshiva University.
I completed my internship experience at the Brooklyn VA/New York Harbor Healthcare System,
and my externships were completed at Rutgers State University Counseling Center, New Brunswick, NJ,
and at South Beach Psychiatric Center, Adult Inpatient, Staten Island, NY.
I worked for 10 years at the Adolescent Outpatient and Inpatient units at South Beach Psychiatric Center.
I am a member of the American Psychological Association, the New Jersey Psychological Association, and the Morris County Psychological Association.

I have a flexible treatment style, exploring self-esteem and supporting personal interests of patients as well as encouraging positive changes in dysfunctional behaviors.

“Happiness is not the absence of problems,
it is the ability to deal with them."
Daniel Gilbert, Ph.D., Harvard psychologist

What to expect on your visit
Supporting you on the path of self-healing
I emphasize self-awareness as crucial for changing one's behaviors
along with one's mood and thoughts.
My hope is to explore the patient's goals and motivations as we work
towards finding a balance between changing what you can and accepting what you can't.

I work hard at empathizing with patients so their burden is not theirs alone.

At times I will challenge irrational thoughts in a gentle and supportive way
as a way towards increasing realistic expectations and experiences.
